The Daily Star are today reporting that Manchester City are preparing to make a sensational record-breaking £95 million bid for Real Madrid’s star man Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portugal captain’s future has come under some doubt at the La Liga champions after reviling that he is not massively happy at the club.
This news of course has attracted the attention of many of clubs in European football and the English Premier League side may make a huge bid for the attacker in the January transfer window. However, they may need to wait until the summer as they will need to lower their wage bill.
Ronaldo did look unhappy if in his last match for Real, and did not celebrate when he found the net against Granada.
Ligue 1 giants Paris St Germain are also said to be keeping an eye on the situation and they are a club that could challenge the Citizens in terms of the financial side of the game.
The 27-year-old of course enjoyed an incredibly successful spell of his career at Manchester United so may be wary about joining City.
With their still being four months until the transfer market opens again, this dispute between Real and Ronaldo could be solved before teams have a chance to bid for him.
