Emre Can linked with Liverpool exit

Italian daily newspaper Il Corriere dello Sport has suggested that Liverpool midfielder Emre Can could be leaving Anfield at the end of the season.

The Turkish footballer has been almost ever present under Jurgen Klopp, but he has received a lot of stick from the fans and media for his latest performances.

Many believe that Can does not deserve a place in the starting line-up and the player himself appears to be disappointed by the treatment at Merseyside.

With his contract due to expire in June 2018, it is believed that the 23-year-old is considering his options and he appears open to a summer exit.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Italian champions Juventus are ready to offer him an escape route from Anfield, while few other top clubs could join the chase as well.

Emre Can joined Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2014 and went on to make 75 Premier League appearances, scoring 5 goals.
