The likes of Fiorentina and Wolfsburg are in the race to sign German midfielder Aaron Hunt from Werder Bremen, Bild has revealed.
The 27-year-old has just over a month left on his deal at Werder Bremen and he has already said goodbye to club fans.
However, he recently refused to close the door on Weserstadion stay, although he has offers from other clubs as well.
According to Bild, Bundesliga high-flyers Wolfsburg have joined the chase as they look to reinforce the squad after narrowly missing out on Champions League qualification.
The same source has suggested that Serie A giants Fiorentina are also pondering a summer move for the former Germany international.
Aaron Hunt has spent his entire professional career up to date at Werder Bremen, making a total of 215 Bundesliga appearances and scoring 46 goals. The attacking midfielder also has 3 Germany caps to his name, but last appeared for the national team in May 2013.
