Juventus are seriously considering a summer move for Borussia Dortmund stopper Mats Hummels, Tuttosport has revealed.
The Bianconeri have very good options at the back, but Antonio Conte believes the squad need another high-quality stopper if they are to finally realise their potential in the Champions League.
And according to Tuttosport, Juventus have made Borussia Dortmund’s Mats Hummels their primary target.
The Old Lady officials are well aware that the Germany international has a high asking price, between €20m and €25m, while he is also on the radar of Barcelona.
Nevertheless, with Antonio Conte a big admirer of Hummels, Juventus are prepared to launch an assault on the 25-year-old defender.
Mats Hummels, who had come through the youth ranks at Bayern Munich, left Alianz Arena for Dortmund in January 2008 and has since developed into one of Europe’s most accomplished centre-backs.
He has made a total of 158 Bundesliga appearances for the Millionaires and scored 14 goals in the process.
