Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that AS Roma are considering a bid for Parma defender Gabriel Paletta.
The Giallorossi have reinforced the midfield area with loan signings of Radja Nainggolan and Michel Bastos, but they are also on the lookout for a new centre-back now that Nicolas Burdisso has moved to Genoa.
They have been looking at a number of players over the last few weeks, with Parma’s Gabriel Paletta the latest footballer to be linked with a move to Stadio Olimpico.
Nevertheless, Roma officials will not have an easy job in an attempt to sign the Argentine given that he is regarded a very important player at Ennio Tardini.
Paletta, who had spent one season at Liverpool, has managed to kick-start his career at Parma, making a total of 101 Serie A appearances for I Ducali, and scoring 5 goals.
The 27-year-old is also a target for AC Milan, who could be stepping up their interest in the coming weeks.
