Voetbal International understands that AZ Alkmaar winger Roy Beerens is nearing a summer move to German Bundesliga.
High-flying Hertha is reportedly hot on the trail of the 26-year-old footballer and they have asked his current employers to name their price.
Feyenoord are also believed to be keen, but the Dutch giants have yet to make a concrete move on the highly rated midfielder.
Roy Beerens is regarded as a key player at AFAS Stadion, but with his current contract due to expire in just over a year, AZ Alkmaar have no choice but to sell in the summer transfer window.
The former Netherlands international arrived at the club from Heerenveen in the summer of 2011 and has since scored 13 goals in 93 league outings.
Beerens was in fine form this term, having managed 5 goals and as many assists in 33 Eredivisie starts, but he couldn’t help AZ secure European qualification.
