Spanish radio Cadena Ser reveals that Spartak Moscow are weighing up January move for Real Madrid stopper Raul Albiol.
The Russian Premier League have invested considerable amount of money into new players in the summer and they plan to further reinforce the squad in January.
As reported by Cadena Ser, Spartak Moscow have now set their sights on Real Madrid defender Raul Albiol.
Spartak boss Unai Emery is well aware of the player’s qualities having coached him at Valencia and he believes this is a perfect opportunity to get reunited with the 27-year-old.
Raul Albiol is currently regarded a fourth-choice centre-back at Santiago Bernabeu and he could jump at the opportunity to kick-start his career.
Since joining Real Madrid from Valencia back in the summer of 2009, Albiol has made 65 La Liga appearances for los Blancos, but has yet to score a league goal.
