Serie A club Palermo have announced the signing of Argentine attacker Paulo Dybala for an undisclosed fee.
The 18-year-old has starred for Instituto in the second-tier of Argentinean football, bagging 17 goals in 38 appearances.
Negotiations to bring Dybala to Palermo have been ongoing for some time but the deal was finally brought to a close on Friday.
Formalities on the transfer will be completed in the coming weeks, with Dybala yet to complete a medical, however no problems are anticipated.
Dybala has been compared to Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero for his prowess in the attacking third and his signing could be a smart acquisition for Palermo, who finished 16th in the 2011/12 season.
