Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has described the La Liga champions as the best group of footballers he has ever seen.
The 24-year-old returned to Barcelona from Arsenal in July 2011, and he is thoroughly enjoying his second spell at the Camp Nou.
“At the training ground it’s unbelievable. This is the best group of footballers I’ve ever seen in my life. If you saw every training session we do you wouldn’t believe it,” Fabregas said to The Guardian.
“The quality is incredible. I’ve never seen or experienced anything like that. Everyone is so humble and the atmosphere is the best I’ve ever seen.”
The midfielder went on to express his admiration with the club’s attitude as they continue to aim high, despite already having won numerous trophies in recent years.
“That’s what shocks me the most. This team has won maybe 15 competitions out of 18 the last four seasons and they are still hungry for more,” he said.
“They want to do well and each of these players is worried when they don’t play well. That hunger will help this team go on for a long time.”
Barcelona currently sit second on the La Liga table, trailing leaders Real Madrid by 10 points.
