Premier League giants Liverpool have already secured the services of Naby Keita, who is set to make the move to Anfield at the end of this season. However, like a child who has to wait for his new toy, Jurgen Klopp reportedly wants the midfielder now, and it will take an extra £13m to make that happen, according to Sky Sports.
Keita has established himself as a top midfielder as part of an RB Leipzig side that has soared to relevance following their promotion to the Bundesliga in 2016. The Guinean international registered eight goals and seven assists, helping his side to an impressive second place finish in their first season as a top flight team.
The versatile midfielder’s exploits were enough to earn him a move to Liverpool, but on the condition that he waited until the end of this season. With the Reds in the midst of a battle for a top four spot, and having just lost Philippe Coutinho, it is little surprise that they are keen on acquiring Keita early.
