Putting on another professional and extending on their FA Cup adventure last weekend as they secured a 2-0 win against Eastleigh, Head Coach Luke Garrard has been filled with praise for his side’s eye-catching resurge. Skyrocketing their way to the top of the table and opening Saturday’s fixtures holding a one-point buffer, the Whites will be desperate to lay down another marker on their travels here. Last seen on fifth-tier duties claiming a deserved 1-0 victory against a struggling Southend, Boreham Wood have won six of their last seven matchups across all formats, a run that stems back to October 2nd. In fact, with just a single defeat to their name since the middle of September, Saturday’s guests have also continued to impress with their success at the back. Including keeping three clean sheets on the spin, it should be noted that Garrard’s side have kept a clean sheet in each of their previous six victories. Picking up a 3-2 win the last time they faced off against this weekend’s hosts, Altrincham could face another stern test here. In fact, it should also be noted that Saturday’s hosts have lost just one of their previous nine second-tier contests, a run that stems back to the middle of September. Landing back-to-back victories at the José Zorrilla, a downbeat Fuenlabrada could face another stern test this weekend. Firmly looking over their shoulder at the drop zone, José Luis Oltra’s men are currently in the midst of a six-match winless run. Likewise, the Blues have managed to muster just a single point from any of their previous four Segunda fixtures. Last seen on their travels getting hit with back-to-back defeats at Las Palmas and Ibiza, we’re backing a home victory here.
