With the international break now upon us, we here at Soccer News have found a handful of helpful tips from both the UEFA Nations League and the upcoming international friendlies that can boost your midweek accumulator.

Thursday 15th November

19:45 Croatia vs Spain

Coming off of their shock 3-2 defeat at home to England last month, there is no doubt that Luis Enrique will be calling for an immediate response from his former World Champion’s. Despite that loss in Betis in the UEFA Nations League, Spain have shown plenty of improvements since an unsuccessful run out in Russia over the summer. Since crashing out at the final 32 stage at the World Cup finals, La Roja were enjoying a very eye-catching three-match winning run, including a 6-0 hammering of Croatia in the reverse fixture back in September. Appearing to once again be finding their form, Spain have scored 14 in their last four and the former Barcelona boss should see Thursday as the perfect opportunity to carry on his rebuilding process. With Croatia putting over a worryingly lackluster showing in their 0-0 draw with The Three Lions last month, Zlatko Dalić’s side have now picked up just one win in their last five matches. With that one victory coming in a very close-fought battle with little known Jordan, it is hard to see last summers World Cup runner-ups pulling off an upset against a star-studded Spain side.

Tip: Away win @ 23/20

19:45 Greece vs Finland

Although Finland failed to secure a spot out in Russia over the summer, they did put on an impressive run during the qualifying stage and Thursday’s hosts have carried on what has been a remarkable vein of form. Arguably the surprise package in this year’s UEFA Nations League, Markku Kanerva’s side are now enjoying a five-match winning run across all competitions. Along with picking up a 2-0 win over Greece in the reverse fixture, Finland are yet to concede a single goal in any of their five conclusive victories. Losing just one match since June 2017, one man to watch for the visitors will be Norwich striker Teemu Pukki. Scoring four in his last two for the Canneries prior to the international break, the 28-year-old has also now bagged three in his last three while playing for Finland. Given Greece’s inconsistency of late, Pukki and Kanerva should be confident of carrying on their 100% start to the inaugural UEFA Nations League. Outplayed for large spells in their 2-0 defeat to Finland the last time the two sides met, the former European Champions have also now managed to win just two of their last eight matches on home soil.

Tip: Away win @ 10/3

19:45: Germany vs Russia

On paper, it really is a story of two sides enduring a very different run of form over the past 12 months. While Germany may have traveled to Russia as the defending champions, Joachim Löw’s side couldn’t make it to the knockout stage and a staggering 2-0 loss to South Korea saw them finish bottom of the group. Going through their most difficult spell in recent memory, Germany have now lost their last two on the bounce, conceding five goals, including a 3-0 hammering at the hands of bitter-rivals Holland last month. With just one win in their last five matches across all competitions, Thursday’s hosts have also recorded just one clean sheet since November 2017. As for Russia, life under Stanislav Cherchesov couldn’t be going any better for last summers World Cup hosts. Picking up a 2-0 win over Turkey last time out, they are now enjoying a four-match unbeaten run. A side that has now found the net nine times on that unbeaten run, we’re backing them to cause Germany some more headaches on Thursday. With Löw expected to name the strongest side he can, we’re backing both teams to score in this week’s international friendly.

Tip: Both teams to score @ 6/5
