24th November – Sunday’s European Accumulator – 9/1

With another hectic Sunday afternoon of action from across Europe, we here at Soccer News have found a handful of helpful tips that can boost your weekend acca:

Sunday 24th November

BST 12:00 Middlesbrough vs Hull City

Starting with Sunday’s guests, despite suffering an extremely hard-fought 1-0 defeat against league leaders West Brom prior to the international break, Hull have really started to show a string of improvements under new boss Grant McCann. Opening the weekend in the top half of the standings, the Tigers have now won three of their last four Championship matchups, a run highlighted by a 3-0 win away at Fulham earlier in the month. One man who has continued to shine under the former Peterborough boss is attacking MVP and starlet Jarrod Bowen. Already collecting nine Championship strikes this season, the 22-year-old is once again attracting a string of interest from across England and he has also now bagged five goals in his last five second-tier appearances. Also landing back-to-back victories away from the KCOM and losing just one of their last six matches on the road, Hull and Bowen should see Sunday as a golden chance to extend on their purple patch. Still struggling to adjust to life under former England defender Jonathan Woodgate, Middlesbrough are now in the midst of a nine-match winless run that stems all the way back to the 14th of September. It should also be noted that Sunday’s hosts have failed to win any of their last four matches in the North East.

Tip: Jarrod Bowen to score anytime @ 13/8

17:00 Hoffenheim vs Mainz

Picking up a 2-1 win away Koln prior to the international break, few across Germany would have expected what has been a stellar run of form for Hoffenheim. With their sights set on securing a return to European football next year, Sunday’s hosts find themselves in the midst of a six-match winning run across all competitions, a run that was highlighted by a stunning 2-1 win away at defending champions Bayern Munich last month. With the mood in Alfred Schreuder’s camp the highest it has been in recent memory and knowing that they could end the weekend as high as second, Hoffenheim have also bagged at least a pair of goals in each of their six victories and they should see Sunday as a golden opportunity to extended on what has been a stellar purple patch. While the hosts might be in the midst of a real resurge, Mainz still find themselves in a battle at the foot of the table. Seen to be one of the leading contenders to finish in the drop zone this season, Rouven Schröder’s men have now lost three of their last four Bundesliga matchups, a run highlighted by what was an embarrassing 8-0 hammering away at RB Leipzig earlier in the month.

Tip: Hoffenheim win and over 1.5 goals @ 4/5

19:45 Leece vs Cagliari

Starting with Sunday’s guests, putting on what was yet another stunning display in their thumping 5-2 win against a resurging Fiorentina prior to the international break, Cagliari’s continued success in Serie A has really sent shockwaves across Europe. Opening the weekend in fourth and with the mood around the Sardegna Arena the highest it has been in recent memory, Rolando Maran’s men are in the midst of a three-match winning run, a run that also saw them land a 2-0 victory away at Champions League outfit Atalanta earlier in the month. One man who has continued to shine for Cagliari this season is leading marksman João Pedro. The 27-year-old midfielder has now bagged three goals in his last three Serie A appearances and the Brazilian should be confident of extending his and I Rossoblu extended purple patch this weekend. Suffering a 4-2 defeat against Lazio prior to the international break, Leece still find themselves in a battle at the foot of the table and hold just a one-point buffer from falling into the bottom-three. Shipping six goals in just their last two Serie A appearances, Sunday’s hosts have failed to win any of their last seven outings, a run that stems back to the 25th of September. It should also be noted that Leece are yet to record a single victory on home soil this season.

Tip: Cagliari win @ 5/4
