27th February: Saturday’s Football Accumulator – 6/1

With another stacked schedule on our hands from across Europe this weekend, we have a host of noteworthy meetings that are worth keeping an eye out for. So, for those of you looking to stick on a Saturday acca, we have searched far and wide to find you a few helpful tips.

Saturday 27th February

BST 12:30 Bournemouth vs Watford

Starting with Saturday’s guests, managing to pick up what was an action-packed 3-2 win away at Blackburn earlier in the week, the Hornets do appear to have found their feet under new boss Xisco Munoz. With their sights set on securing an immediate Premier League return this season, they open up this weekend’s fixtures with just their goal difference stopping them from breaking into the top-two. Enjoying what has been a hugely impressive run of form since opening February, Watford have won each of their last four Championship matchups on the bounce. With their recent purple patch highlighted by that rampant 6-0 win against Bristol City earlier in the month, it is no surprise that the Hornets have gained a real reputation for their clinical displays in the final third. Including bagging a trio of strikes away at Ewood Park in midweek, Xisco’s side have scored 12 goals on their four-match winning run. Given Bournemouth’s recent issues since appointing Jonathan Woodgate on a permanent basis last week, Watford should be looking to lay down another marker. Putting in a worrying display on home soil in midweek, the former Middlesbrough boss saw his new squad get hit with a 2-1 defeat at home against Cardiff. Now suffering back-to-back Championship defeats and with just one win in their last four second-tier contests, the Cherries have also lost their spot in the play-off positions.

Tip: Watford draw no bet @ 5/6

14:30 Borussia Dortmund vs Arminia Bielefeld

While Borussia Dortmund might have shown a string of issues so far this season, the Bats will be boosted by what was a rampant display against bitter rivals Schalke last weekend. Eventually picking up a 4-0 romp against the relegation scrappers, BVB also managed to build off of a very impressive Champions League display on their travels last week. Shocking many and picking up a 3-2 victory away at Spanish outfit Sevilla, Saturday’s hosts have refound their clinical edge in the final third. Although attacking superstar Erling Haaland might be stealing most of the headlines in rural Germany, Dortmund fans will be excited by Jadon’s Sancho’s recent run of form. Once again getting himself on the scoresheet against Schalke last weekend, the England international has now bagged four goals in his last six matchups across all formats. Certainly finding some form ahead of this year’s delayed European Championships, the former Manchester City starlet should be confident of extending on his tally this week. Despite snatching that stunning 3-3 draw off of Bayern Munich earlier in the month, Arminia Bielefeld have gained a real reputation for their glaring issues at the back. Last seen getting hit with a 3-0 drumming at home against Wolfsburg, Saturday’s guests have collected just one point from their last four Bundesliga contests. Conceding over 2.5 goals in each of those four appearances, it’s well worth keeping an eye out for Sancho on Saturday afternoon.

Tip: Jadon Sancho to score anytime @ 21/20

19:30 RB Leipzig vs Borussia Mönchengladbach

From one German high-flyer to another. RB Leipzig really managed to bounce back from their 2-0 loss against Liverpool last week with a hugely impressive display on the road six days ago. Cruising their way to a deserved 3-0 romp away at Hertha Berlin, the Whites have continued to build on the slip-ups above them. With Bayern Munich showing some recent domestic issues, Julian Nagelsmann’s men find themselves sat just two points adrift of climbing to the top of the table. Despite their Champions League defeat last week, Die Roten Bullen have continued on a domestic purple patch. Hitting form at a vital time, Saturday’s hosts have won each of their last five domestic matchups on the bounce. Along with extending their DFP Pokal adventure with a 4-0 victory against second-tier Bochum, it should also be noted that Leipzig have won each of their last three straight Bundesliga home fixtures on the spin. Given Borussia Mönchengladbach’s recent rut, Nagelsmann’s side should be smelling a chance to potentially leapfrog Bayern this weekend. Suffering a deserved 2-0 loss against Manchester City on Champions League duties in midweek, the Colts have failed to win any of their last four matchups across all formats, losing three of those contests. Also failing to win any of their last four Bundesliga matchups, including a 2-1 defeat against Mainz last time out, Gladbach should face another stern test this weekend.

Tip: RB Leipzig win & under five goals @ 1/1
