Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United have been in fine form of late as they have maintained their 100% start in the Champions League along with being joint top in the Premier League. Crystal Palace, on the other hand, are winless and goalless, a run that will surely only be extended at Old Trafford.

15:oo West Ham vs Swansea
West Ham fell to a disappointing 3-2 defeat against Tottenham last weekend and the scoreline flattered them, while Swansea were also very poor in their defeat to Watford and both sides will be looking to bounce back. In London though it is difficult to see the Welsh side coming away with a win, while if Andy Carroll plays, then he will wreck havoc, although Swansea may get some goalscoring joy with the Hammer’s defence leaky at best.

19:00 PSG vs Bordeaux
Paris Saint-Germain welcome high-flying Bordeaux on Saturday evening. With Neymar, Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe up front, PSG have netted 21 goals in six games whilst conceding just three times. The visitors have also been fairly good netting 13 times and conceding seven, which has seen them rise to third in the table, just four points behind their hosts. While it should be an entertaining game, PSG will surely have too much firepower, although Bordeaux will back themselves to get on the scoresheet too.

Sunday 1st October
11:30 Napoli vs Cagliari
Napoli are six wins from six in Italy at the moment and locked at the top of the table with reigning champions Juventus, while the visitors languish in 13th place with six points from six games. With Napoli in such good form of late it is difficult to see anything but a home with, with lowly Cagliari surely no match for their opponents.

16:30 Newcastle United vs Liverpool
Games against Liverpool have not provided much joy in recent years for Newcastle and although they have been in good form this season, it is unlikely the Magpies will come away with anything from this game. Liverpool, on the other hand, will be looking to put their wasteful display against Spartak Moscow behind them by showing their critics that they can finish the chances they create.
