Football action returns this weekend with a glut of incredibly exciting games that will surely bring more goals and controversy. The leagues across Europe are incredibly tight with relegation and the European spots hotly contested as every side jostles for position. With this in mind, we have found a number of interesting bets for you to take a look at.

Saturday 3rd February

12:30 BST Burnley vs Manchester City

Burnley have been in good form this season but they have stalled massively in recent weeks as the wins have dried up. Sean Dyche’s men are still in a very strong position in the league with 35 points, 12 clear of the relegation zone, but they have taken just two points from their last five games. Manchester City on the other hand are walking towards the Premier League title. After 25 games they have won 22 and lost just once, scoring 73 goals. While Burnley have been very good this season, current form suggests there is only one winner here.

Tip: Away win @ 2/7

Sunday 4th February

14:00 Atalanta vs Chievo

Atalanta have been in very good form this season and they are looking to take a Champions League place for their next campaign. Nine wins from their 22 games have come largely due to their attack as they have scored 34 goals, while in their last five they have won three and lost twice. Chievo on the other hand have been struggling this season. They have conceded 39 goals in their 22 games, while they have lost four of their last five games meaning that confidence will not be high.

Tip Home win @ 2/5

14:15 Crystal Palace vs Newcastle

Crystal Palace are currently enjoying the revitalisation of their campaign, and they have Roy Hodgson to thank for it. The former-England manager came in and has turned the side around, and they are now in 13th-place with 26 points. He will know that the work is far from finished though, and Hodgson will be targetting three points against a struggling Newcastle. The Magpies have been slipping down the table at an alarming rate in recent weeks. Their good start means they are still above the relegation zone, but by just a point, and just one win in their last five shows they are not in good form.

Tip: Home win @ 21/20

15:15 Espanyol vs Barcelona

Espanyol have been in fairly good form this season as they currently sit on 24 points, seven clear of the relegation zone. What will worry the fans is the fact they are winless in their last three games, while they have only scored 18 goals and conceded 28 times, showing they are weak at both ends of the pitch. Barcelona are the visitors and they have been awesome this year. After 21 games they have won 18 and they are yet to lose. The league leaders have scored 59 times, conceding just 10 goals, and they have won five of their last five.

Tip: Away win @ 1/3
