According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele isn’t going to be given the opportunity to leave the Nou Camp unless his release clause is met – which is a staggering €400 million. The youngster netted last night against Tottenham Hotspur but his off the pitch problems have been well noted, with some suggesting his attitude is the primary reason behind Barca wanting to get rid of him.
If he does leave then he’d be a great acquisition for anyone who comes in for him, but at the end of the day, almost half a billion euros seems like it’d be too much for any club to play. Many sides in the Premier League and around Europe are said to be interested, but if Barca genuinely want to get him out of the club, then the best thing they could do would be halving their asking price.
Even then, that still might be too much.
