With another Saturday of footballing action from across the globe, we here at Soccer News have found a few helpful tips to boost your weekend acca:

Saturday 5th January

BST 15:00 Chesterfield vs Ebbsfleet

Starting with Saturday’s visitors, coming off the back of another very impressive showing in their 4-0 victory away at Braintree on New Year’s Day, Ebbsfleet have entered 2019 in some fashion. Now winning four of their last five National League outings, Daryl McMahon’s side have now lost just one of their last 12 matches across all competitions. Now moving within just three points of jumping into the playoff positions, the visitors have scored 11 goals in their last three matches. A huge part of their form in the final third can be put down to the form of former AFC Wimbledon striker, Danny Kedwell. Already bagging 12 National League goals this season, the 35-year-old has also now scored five in his last five. With Ebbsfleet also now losing just one of their last six matches on the road, they should be confident of extending that tally on Saturday. Chesterfield have failed to win any of their last four league outings and now find themselves sat in the relegation zone entering 2019. More worrying for the hosts, they have recorded just one win in their last 13 matches at the Proact Stadium.

Tip: Away win @ 13/8

15:00 Aston Villa vs Swansea

While Aston Villa might be coming off the back of a 2-2 draw with QPR on New Year’s Day and have recorded just one win in their last six Championship matches, the Villans have continued to impress in the final third. Holding the second best-attacking record in the second-tier, Dean Smith’s side still remain in a strong position to secure a top-six finish. One man who is leading the hosts’ charge is Chelsea loanee, Tammy Abraham. Heavily linked with a potential move to Premier League side and Midlands rivals Wolves, the England U21 international grabbed a brace against QPR in midweek and is only going from strength to strength. Abraham has now bagged 12 goals in his last 15 appearances for Villa. It is also worth noting that that the last time the two sides met at Villa Park back in October, Abraham scored the only goal in the Villans’ 1-0 win. Traveling to Villa Park on Saturday will be a Swansea side who have lost both their meetings against Villa in 2018 and haven’t recorded a clean sheet in their last nine matches.

Tip: Tammy Abraham to score anytime @ 21/20

19:45 Huesca vs Real Betis

Starting with Saturday’s visitors, after booking their spot in the last 32 of this year’s Europa League, Real Betis couldn’t be enjoying a brighter start to the New Year. Picking up a point against Sevilla before the Christmas break, the White and Greens are unbeaten in their last seven outings, winning five of those fixtures. With the chance to briefly jump into the top-four, Quique Setién will also be boosted by his sides form on the road. Winning three of their last five matches away from the Estadio Benito Villamarín, including a famous 4-3 win over Barcelona, they also hold the third best defensive record in La Liga. Given Huesca’s woeful run of form entering 2019, Betis should be confident of extending their unbeaten run. The hosts now sit five points adrift at the bottom of the table and have managed to record just one win all season. Even more worrying for Huesca, they are yet to record a single win in front of their own supporters this campaign.

Tip: Away win @ 6/5
