Arsenal are interested in signing Murillo from Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window, according to CaughtOffSide. The report has revealed that Liverpool are also keen on a summer swoop for the Brazil international centre-back.
The Gunners explored a potential deal for Murillo with some talks in the January transfer window, and so did Liverpool, but those were unsuccessful. However, both Arsenal and the Reds are still keen on the 22-year-old, who has been on the books of Forest since 2023 when he joined from Corinthians and has established himself as one of the first names on Nuno’s teamsheet.
CaughtOffSide has added that Real Madrid and Chelsea are also keen on Murillo, who is valued at around €80m. Forest, who are aiming to finish in the top five of the Premier League table this season, are keen on keeping the centre-back and hope to open talks with the youngster over a new deal and extending his contract until 2030.
