If Arsenal lose to Crystal Palace on Wednesday, Liverpool would be crowned Premier League champions, and the Gunners, their only remaining title rivals, would see Tottenham Hotspur give the Merseysiders the “guard of honour”, rather than themselves when the two sides meet next week.
However, manager Mikel Arteta says he and his players are focused on the game at hand and won’t be up to any such tricks against Palace.
