Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has revealed there are no plans for major signings in January, as Sky Sports have relayed.
Gerrard is set to meet chairman Dave King soon for some work talk over dinner, but he said January transfers wouldn’t be on the agenda.
The former Liverpool captain added that he always takes the opportunity to sit down and discuss matters with King, so this is nothing out of the ordinary. In these meetings, they usually look back on the work that has been done, assess where they are now and work on some general pointers for what needs to be done next.
As for the upcoming transfer window, Gerrard is happy with the squad already at his disposal. He praised the work that was done in the summer. However, the club are always on the lookout for players who can improve the team, and should a player who could help them significantly in the second half of the season be identified, they could make a move.
