England international Aaron Lennon is widely tipped to leave Tottenham Hotspur in January, Sunday People has revealed.
The explosive winger is no longer in the first team plans of manager Mauricio Pochettino and club officials even attempted to offload him on transfer deadline day.
Lennon ultimately remained at White Hart Lane as he rejected several Premier League sides, but he is almost certain to leave come January transfer window.
Not so long ago, the 27-year-old was considered a key member of the squad, but despite starting the opening game of the new Premier League campaign, the winger’s days in North London appear numbered.
Aaron Lennon joined Spurs from Leeds United back in 2005 and went on to make 258 Premier League appearances for the club, scoring 26 goals.
He has so far earned 21 England caps and represented the country at the 2006 and 2010 World Cups, making a total of 5 appearances at the tournament finals.
