Chelsea have been talking to the representatives of striker Tammy Abraham and defender Fikayo Tomori over new five-year contracts, according to Sky Sports.
Both youngsters have been playing extremely well since manager Frank Lampard decided to put his faith in them due to the club being unable to sign new players during the summer. So much so, that both of them have been called up to represent England at senior level in the upcoming international break.
Abraham and Tomori spent last season out on loan, at Aston Villa and Derby County respectively, and while Abraham remaining at the club was certain, Tomori was close to joining Everton in another temporary move with the Merseyside club denied the chance to sign Kurt Zouma permanently. However, the departure of David Luiz to Arsenal and the injury of Antonio Rudiger forced the club to keep him, and he has repaid their faith well so far.
