AC Milan 1/3 to beat Crotone in Saturday’s Serie A showdown

Competition: Serie A

Market: AC Milan to beat Crotone

Odds: 1/3 @ Bet365

Serie A returns for yet another round of incredibly interesting games as Italy’s top league continues to heat up. The new year will surely bring even more enthralling action, with the top and bottom of the table exceptionally tight as every side continues to look to add points to their current totals. With this in mind, AC Milan host Crotone on Saturday.

AC Milan have been hugely disappointing this season and they are in danger of falling into midtable anonymity if they are not careful. After 19 games they have seven wins, four draws and eight defeats, while they have scored 24 times and conceded 27 goals, which has seen them take just 25 points so far this season. Milan are fairly comfortable with regard to relegation, as they are 10 points clear of their next opponents in 18th, but they are a massive 23 points short of Napoli at the top, with their hopes of winning an unlikely title written off weeks ago. A loss to Crotone, who are in the relegation zone, would constitute something of a disaster for Milan.

Crotone have been struggling this season and they are in need of a positive run of form and quickly. After 19 games they have won just four times, while they have drawn three games and lost 12, scoring 13 goals and conceding 37 times, seeing them accumulate just 15 points. While a win would see them out of the relegation zone, they are in need of more than just one positive result, as their form is that of a team that will go down this campaign. With all of this in mind, we are backing AC Milan with odds of 1/3 from Bet365.
