AC Milan agree deal for Carlos Bacca

Sky Sport Italia has learned that AC Milan are on the verge of signing Colombian striker Carlos Bacca from Sevilla.

The Rossoneri were desperate to recruit a proven goalscorer after Mattia Destro failed to impress at San Siro and they appear to have won the chase for the La Liga star.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Sevilla have accepted the latest proposal from AC Milan, with the Serie A side currently negotiating a deal with the striker’s representatives.

The Rossoneri decided to turn their attention towards Bacca after primary target Jackson Martinez opted to join Atletico Madrid instead.

The Colombian enjoyed two very successful seasons with Sevilla, scoring 49 goals in 108 competitive appearances, winning back to back Europa League titles in the process.

Bacca recently confirmed he was ready to leave los Rojiblancos for greener pastures and will now get the opportunity to test his skills in Italian Serie A.
