According to a recent report from ESPN, AC Milan and Juventus currently lead the race to sign Jesse Lingard this summer.
The Manchester United star has been heavily linked with a permanent move away from Old Trafford for a while now and it finally appears as if he’ll be heading away from the Red Devils for good once the season ends.
He had a strong loan spell with West Ham United last season but for whatever reason, he wasn’t able to get his wish of a January move away.
The 29-year-old quite clearly needs a fresh change of pace and in order to get that, he may need to leave English football altogether.
Milan and Juve will both be eyeing up the title by the time August rolls around and while Lingard may not come across as a starter, he almost certainly would make an impact in either top team.
