AC Milan and Napoli are showing interest in Nottingham Forest striker Chris Wood, according to Football Insider. Wood is out of contract at Forest at the end of the season, and Italian giants Milan and Napoli are keen on snapping up the former Leeds United and Newcastle United striker on a free transfer in the summer of 2025.
Forest, who have been linked with Mathys Tel, are in talks with Wood over a new contract. Clubs in the Saudi Pro League are also keen on a deal for the New Zealand international striker, who is able to sign a pre-contract with a club outside the Premier League from January 1, 2025.
Wood has been superb for Forest since his move from Newcastle United in January 2023. The 33-year-old has scored 11 goals and given one assist in 18 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League so far this season. The striker scored 14 goals and provided one assist in 20 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the league for the Reds during the 2023-24 campaign.
