AC Milan are readying January bid for Atalanta midfielder Daniele Baselli, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Rossoneri haven’t been too impressed by the impact of loan signing Marco van Ginkel and are widely expected to recruit a new midfielder in the upcoming transfer window.
Il Corriere dello Sport has suggested that AC Milan are hot on the trail of Atalanta’s Daniele Baselli, who has seen his stock rise a great deal over the last year or so.
Inter are also believed to be keeping close tabs on the Italy Under-21 international, but they will not be making a move in January and could cool off interest in the player altogether with on loan midfielder Lorenzo Crisetig impressing at Cagliari.
The Rossoneri have not been put off by the reported €10 million asking price, especially having signed Giacomo Bonaventura from Atalanta for mere €7m even if Orobici had valued the midfielder at more than €10m.
