Italian giants AC Milan have made Genoa’s Mattia Perin their number one target to replace Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to Sky Sport Italia.
The wonderkid keeper surprised everyone with his decision to reject a lucrative contract offer, meaning he will either be sold this summer, or relegated to the youth team for the final year of his current deal.
As a result, the Rossoneri are in the market for a new number one and long-term target Mattia Perin is top of their wish list.
AC Milan already had a €7 million bid rejected as Genoa are reportedly holding out for €10 million, but that is unlikely to be a problem for club’s wealthy owners.
The Rossoneri have already signed no fewer than four new players, as Mateo Musacchio, Andre Silva, Franck Kessie and Ricardo Rodriguez all arrived at San Siro.
