As reported by Sky Sports News, AC Milan have the ability to automatically renew Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s deal at the end of the current season. There is a clause in the Swede’s contract that indicates this, with the veteran already hitting two goals in six games since making his return.

Paolo Maldini confirmed the news with many fans wondering whether or not it was going to be a ‘one and done’ type of scenario for Ibrahimovic. It turns out that probably isn’t going to be the case, with Ibrahimovic instead looking towards an extended stay – or, at least, that’s how it seems.

While AC Milan haven’t quite been able to work their way back into the mix in Serie A, you can never say never. Zlatan clearly came back due to his love for the club, and he isn’t just going to let that go after coming back for one season.Zlatan Ibrahimovic
