According to a recent report from Sky Italy, AC Milan have agreed to a deal with Spanish side Atletico Madrid over the proposed transfer of Angel Correa. They are set to pay an initial £35 million to secure the signing of the Argentine, with the belief being that they will also put forward an extra £10 million in add-ons. Milan have been relatively quiet in the summer transfer window in comparison to some of their biggest rivals, but if they’re able to get this deal over the finish line, it would be a huge statement for them ahead of the brand new season.
Milan are considered to be outside contenders to make some noise in the top four of Serie A, and Correa would inject some much needed quality into their team. He’s a popular man, too, with a handful of other notable European sides sniffing around his services in the last few months.
