AC Milan considered Keita Balde

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, AC Milan had previously considered the possibility of signing Keita Balde during the recent summer transfer window. The Italian side had a busy time over the last few months, to the point where a lot of fans and media members felt like they could be outside contenders if they were able to get all the reported deals they had in the pipeline over the finish line.

It didn’t quite work out that way, though, and now, there are question marks as to what the long term future of the club is going to be and what they’re going to be aiming for.

Either way it’s interesting to note that they wanted to go after a player like Balde, and it’d be even more intriguing to find out what exactly it was about him that was so appealing.

Milan are currently situated in seventh place in Serie A after a mixed start to the season.
