AC Milan eye Elneny

AC Milan’s poor start to the season has alerted the club to the maximum. The change of staff was made, with Marco Giampaolo getting sacked early on in the campaign. Now Stefano Pioli is the new manager and, whilst many fans did not like that appointment, he will have his own ideas about the team. The rumours have already started about the players he could be looking to sign and Mohamed Elneny could be one of them.

The Egyptian midfielder may have just joined Besiktas on loan from Arsenal in the summer, but he could be on the move again in January. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan are eyeing the 27-year-old Egypt international and are even ready to pay the €15m Arsenal allegedly want for the transfer to happen.

Milan see Elneny as an ideal replacement for the Ivory Coast international Franck Kessie, who the club are trying to sell.
