Mirror Football is reporting that AC Milan are monitoring the situation of Newcastle United goal-keeper Tim Krul and full-back Davide Santon and could make a move for them both in the summer transfer window.
Krul has been excellent during his time with the Magpies, especially last season and his performances left some saying he was one of the best keepers in the English Premier League.
It doesn’t seem as though that form has gone unnoticed either and the Serie A giants might try and lure him to the San Siro at the end of the term.
It might depend on how well Alan Pardew’s side do in the league this campaign as at the moment, they are in a relegation battle.
If performances don’t improve, then Milan might take advantage of that and put in a good bid for the Dutchman.
Santon used to ply his trade for Inter Milan of course, but it is thought he has struggled to settle in England and might jump at the chance to move back to Italy, despite it being for his former employer’s bitter rivals.
Both stories are certainly worth keeping an eye on and you never know, something could even happen this month.
We shall see.
