The Metro understands that AC Milan will make a January move for Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas.
The Spain international hasn’t’ featured in any of the matchday squads for the Blues’ four league games so far this season with his last outing coming in the Community Shield defeat to Manchester City.
Prior to this season, Fabregas had racked up one hundred and eighty-two appearances in all competitions for Chelsea, scoring twenty-one goals while he was part of the squad that won the Premier League in both 2015 and 2017.
He also has winners’ medals in the League Cup and FA Cup, while he also won the latter during his time with Arsenal.
In between his spells in England, the thirty-one-year-old had a successful spell with Barcelona while internationally he has been capped one hundred and ten times for his country, scoring fifteen goals.
His first international strike came at Euro 2008 while he scored twice at Euro 2012 – Spain winning both tournaments while he was also involved as they lifted the World Cup in 2010.
