Italian giants AC Milan are hot on the trail of Genoa defenders Armando Izzo and Sebastian De Maio, Tuttosport can reveal.
The Rossoneri aim to shake up their defensive options in the summer transfer window, with Philippe Mexes, Cristian Zapata and Rodrigo Ely all linked with summer exits.
As a result, they are in the market for central defenders, with two Genoa stoppers currently on their radar.
It is believed that Armando Izzo is high on their hit-list, with the 23-year-old in excellent form this season.
Izzo joined Genoa from Napoli in the summer of 2014 and has since amassed 42 Serie A appearances, scoring one goal.
His teammate Sebastian De Maio is another player on AC Milan’s radar, although he is also followed by few other Italy’s top sides.
The 28-year-old was close to joining Fiorentina in the January window, but the deal eventually failed to materialise.
