Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has suggested that AC Milan have been showing interest in Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.
The Frenchman has been quite disappointing this term and there is a chance los Blancos will consider selling him at the end of the season, especially since Alvaro Morata continues to impress.
AC Milan plan to take advantage of the opportunity and lure the 29-year-old to Stadio San Siro as Colombian forward Carlos Bacca looks likely to leave.
The Rossoneri will have money to spend in the summer transfer window and they clearly plan to make the Frenchman their marquee signing.
Karim Benzema’s performances this season have come under a lot of scrutiny, which is hardly surprising considering that he managed mere 9 goals in 23 La Liga outings.
His poor showings, however, didn’t prevent Real Madrid from mounting a serious title challenge, and los Blancos are now 2/7 favourites to lift the coveted trophy.
