Sport Mediaset understands that AC Milan are keeping close tabs on Cesena midfielder Stefano Sensi.
The Rossoneri have made a U-turn in their transfer strategy this summer, with home-based footballers now in the focus.
And in line with those objectives, AC Milan could be recruiting the latest prospect from Serie B as they are keen on Pescara starlet Stefano Sensi.
The 20-year-old returned to the club after spending two years on loan with Serie D side San Marino Calcio, and he has been in fine form this season.
Sensi made a total of eight Serie B appearances, scoring two goals, and he clearly did enough to catch the eye of the Serie A giants.
The central midfielder could prove to be the most talented footballer to have come through the club’s youth ranks since Marco Verratti, but Cesena’s €10 million asking price should ward off interest in his services, at least for the time being.
