According to reports in Italy, AC Milan have been impressed by Tiemoue Bakayoko’s form in the wake of a slow start to life at the San Siro. Bakayoko has proven himself to be a capable hand in Serie A in recent weeks, with the club currently finding themselves down in 5th – just outside of the Champions League spots.
They initially weren’t said to be very interested in triggering a permanent deal for Bakayoko, but things appear to have changed in a big way over the course of the last few weeks. The 24 year old could cost the Italian club up to £30 million which may serve as a stumbling block, although they aren’t the only club that are interested.
Roma and Fulham are both considering the possibility of bringing him to their clubs, which would likely be a smart move from both. He’s already proven that he could get the job done in Serie A, whereas he’d likely have a chip on his shoulder if Chelsea allowed him to move to another top flight club.
