Il Corriere dello Sport understands that AC Milan are weighing up summer bid for AS Roma striker Edin Dzeko.
The Rossoneri will have money to spend in the summer and signing a proven goalscorer appears to be the top priority.
Head coach Vincenzo Montella had no say in signing Carlos Bacca and Gianluca Lapadula, and neither player seems to be his cup of tea.
Edin Dzeko, on the other hand, is a striker to Montella’s liking and the Rossoneri will attempt to snatch him from AS Roma.
Even though the Bosnian has seriously raised his game this term, bagging 25 league goals, the Giallorossi would consider offers in the region of €35 million for his services.
Edin Dzeko, 31, did well to rediscover his scoring touch after a disappointing first season at Stadio Olimpico and even though many believe head coach Luciano Spalletti helped him return to form, the pair doesn’t have such a good rapport at the moment.
