Catalan daily newspaper Sport claims that AC Milan have rekindled their interest in Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu.
The highly rated footballer returned to Camp Nou in the summer as the Catalans exercised a buy-back clause, but he has failed to impress, scoring just once in seven appearances.
AC Milan officials are closely monitoring the situation and they will attempt to agree another six-month loan in January, last like they did last winter.
It is believed that Deulofeu wouldn’t mind retuning to San Siro, having enjoyed the best moment of his career in Milan, but Barcelona may not be prepared to let him leave given the lack of options up front.
With Ousmane Dembele sidelined and Paco Alcacer linked with a January exit, the 23-year-old is likely to stay put in January.
