Sky Sport Italia is reporting that AC Milan are hot on the trail of FC Porto striker Andre Silva.
The Rossoneri are determined to recruit a high-quality centre forward in the coming weeks, but they appear to have missed out on primary target Alvaro Morata.
Namely, the talented forward expressed his desire to stay at Santiago Bernabeu after lifting the Champions League trophy with Real Madrid, prompting AC Milan to switch their attention to Andre Silva.
According to reports, the Rossoneri officials met with the player’s agent Jorge Mendes in Cardiff, enquiring about what it would take to bring the 21-year-old to San Siro.
Considering that Andre Silva has another four years left on his contract, it is clear that FC Porto will refer all interested sides to a €60 million release clause and that is the amount AC Milan will have to pay in order to get their man.
The talented youngster scored 16 goals in 32 league outings last term, while netting 6 times in last 6 matches for the Portugal national team.
