According to a recent report from Sky Italy, Serie A side AC Milan are interested in trying to sign Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
After spending the 2018/19 season on loan at the San Siro with Milan, and then went on loan to Monaco last season – the same club that Chelsea signed him from.
At the age of just 26, there’s still a whole lot of time left for Bakayoko to thrive at the top level – and it doesn’t appear as if Frank Lampard is particularly bothered about keeping him around. They’ve been splashing the cash in a big way this summer and while they do have cover in the middle of the park, trying to make Bakayoko a member of the first team could be a left-field idea that Lampard contemplates.
Either way, it’s worth keeping an eye on Milan to see what they can accomplish next season after a tasty looking summer window.
