According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, both AC Milan and Inter Milan are interested in three different midfielders: Luka Modric, Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic. The belief is that Modric is their primary target, whereas the other two have only been linked more recently.
Inter are ready and willing to go after pretty much any player they desire, whereas AC are desperate for any top names to make their way to the club.
Modric has been heavily linked with a move away from Real Madrid for quite some time now, but it hasn’t quite come to fruition just yet.
Rakitic is the same over at Barcelona, whereas Vidal has only recently made it clear that he wants some more first team football opportunities.
Whether or not any of these potential deals can get over the finish line during the January window is a different matter altogether, as the summer window gives them more time to prepare.
