According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Tottenham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier is a wanted man with AC Milan being the frontrunners for his signature.
The Italian club managed to get themselves back on the right track with a nice win over Juventus this past weekend, vaulting into Champions League contention after initially experiencing quite a dramatic decline from top spot in Serie A.
Aurier has enjoyed flashes of brilliance during his stint with Spurs but for the most part, things just don’t seem to have really clicked into place.
Milan are bound to go after some top names during the summer transfer window as things continue to heat up in Italy, and if they believe they can turn Aurier into the kind of consistent defender we all know he has the potential to be, it could wind up being quite a shrewd signing – providing the money is right for Tottenham.
