AC Milan interested in Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante

AC Milan are interested in signing Chelsea central midfielder N’Golo Kante in the summer of 2023, according to TuttoSport. Kante is out of contract at former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners Chelsea at the end of the season, and defending Serie A champions Milan are keen on then signing him on a free transfer.

Milan, who won the Serie A title last season have made contact with Kante in regard to signing him on a pre-contract in January. The 31-year-old has had injury problems in recent seasons and has not been a regular for Chelsea for a while.

Kante has made only two appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea so far this season. The former Leicester City midfielder made 21 starts and five substitute appearances in the league for the Blues last season, scoring two goals and providing four assists in the process. Kante also gave one assist in six UEFA Champions League matches last season.
