AC Milan interested in Joachim Andersen

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Italian side AC Milan are interested in joining the race for Joachim Andersen’s signature. It’s no secret that the Danish defender is a wanted man, with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan expressing their interest in him in the past. Milan want to bring someone in to partner Alessio Romagnoli, with Andersen being situated towards the top of their wish list. The 22 year old has been with Sampdoria since back in 2017 when he made the jump over from FC Twente, and he’s made quite the impression ever since then. The expectation is that he’ll also be called up to the Denmark senior squad sooner rather than later.

Milan haven’t been big players in the realm of European football for quite a few years now, but if they’re able to secure a deal like this, it could be a huge step forward for them as a club.
