AC Milan are interested in signing Jonathan David from Lille in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that former Serie A and UEFA Champions League winners Milan want to sign a striker in the middle of the season, and that David is on their radar.
David is one of the best young strikers in Europe and has been superb over the years. The 23-year-old has scored 25 goals in 42 international matches for Canada so far in his career. David has scored two goals in five Ligue 1 matches so far this season. Last season, the youngster scored 24 goals and provided four assists in 36 Serie A starts for Lille.
Milan are third in the Serie A table at the moment with nine points from four matches, three points behind leaders and city rivals Inter Milan. Meanwhile, Lille currently find themselves sixth in the Ligue 1 table with eight points from five matches, three points behind leaders AS Monaco.
