AC Milan are interested in signing Liverpool striker Divock Origi in the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Belgium international is out of contract at Liverpool at the end of the season, and Italian giants Milan are keen on securing his services on a free transfer, claims the well-known and well-respected journalist.
Milan, who could win the Serie A title this season, are pushing to reach a verbal agreement with Origi. The 26-year-old striker, who has won the Premier League and the Champions League with Liverpool, is allowed to sign a pre-contract with a foreign club.
Origi has made five substitute appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool so far this season, scoring two goals in the process. The 26-year-old has scored one goal and given one assist in five Champions League games, and has scored two goals and provided one assist in three Carabao Cup ties.
