According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, AC Milan are very interested in trying to sign Liverpool forward Divock Origi.
It’s no secret that while he may not be anywhere near a starter in Liverpool’s first team, Divock Origi is the definition of a cult hero at Anfield. He’s scored some of the club’s most important goals across the last few years including, of course, his strikes in the Champions League semi-final and final that won them their sixth European Cup.
Now that he’s set to become a free agent during the summer transfer window, though, Origi has been attracting a lot of attention from outside Merseyside – as you’d expect given his marksman reputation.
Milan are reportedly in “continuous” contact with Liverpool and while both have a lot on their plate right now, this does feel like a transfer that could be finalised behind closed doors sooner rather than later.
